The Chingford Mount Market is held on the last Saturday of each month in Albert Crescent, Chingford Mount, E4 6HS and is licensed by Waltham Forest Council.

It is run by E4 markets and includes a range of arts, crafts and food stalls.

E17 Designers Market Click to get info

E17 Designers Markets showcase good quality arts and crafts handmade by different groups and individuals from across the borough. 

The events provide a unique opportunity to show and sell their work locally. Art and craft disciplines represented include: jewellery; ceramics; fashion; printmaking; soft furnishings and accessories. 

Established in 2006, we usually run eight markets a year in various venues.

The Red Box Project

We will be hosting a donation box for The Red Box Project during our markets; the project is a community-based, not-for-profit initiative, which aims to support young people throughout their periods by providing red boxes filled with free period products to local schools. Please donate period products if you can and thanks for your support.

Wide range of gifts from over 25 makers, Playtime Guitars, tarot reading from Goddess Vulpecula, mulled cider from Real Al, food from Suzie Cakes, Greek Café, Wood Street Coffee.

Hoe Street Market Click to get info

Hoe Street Market is a monthly Sunday market at Walthamstow Trades Hall. 

Find gifts, art, cards, cakes, plants, jewellery, clothes, homeware and more from local artists, makers and bakers. 

Street food is served in the front car park (next to the petrol station on Hoe Street) – buy outside and eat inside with a drink from the very cheap bar! Child friendly with plenty of seating and space for prams, the address is 17 Hoe Street but the entrance is on Tower Hamlets Road (opposite Yard Sale Pizza).

This market is on private land which means it is not licensed by Waltham Forest Council.

Leyton and Stone Designers is a group of designer/makers based in Leyton and Leytonstone. 

The group holds pop-up markets to promote members' work and support the craft and design community in our area. These markets are privately organised.

The Leyton Jubilee Park Market is hosted by The Creative Side of London.

A range of affordable stalls including hot food, local produce, handmade goods and pre-loved items, as well as music, bouncy castle and other entertainment for children.

The market takes place behind KukooLaLa Cafe, Leyton Jubilee Park E10 7BL.

Every Saturday 11am to 4pm, from 18 May 2019 until 3 September 2019.

The Limes E17  Market is held monthly as part of their ‘Creative Journeys’ Entrepreneurial programme.

Creative Journeys are sixteen-week programmes that encourage young people with disabilities to develop entrepreneurial skills and develop business ideas through cooking, gardening and crafting. 

The monthly market gives the young adults a chance to sell things they have baked, made and grown in a real business environment. This supports them to build skills for employment. 

We also encourage local artisan makers to have stalls at our market so it really does have a community feel.

The markets are open at The Limes, 6 Somers Road, Walthamstow, E17 6RX, from 9.30am until 12.30pm on:

The Lloyd Park Market Click to get info

The Lloyd Park Market is held every Saturday, 10am to 4pm, at Lloyd Park Forest Road entrance, Walthamstow, E17 4PP.

The market will offer 30 high quality food stalls, covering everything you need for a weekly produce shop, including: organic seasonal fruit and veg from local farmers, meat from an organic farm butcher and fresh fish from the fishmonger.

The North Chingford Market  is held in Station Road, Chingford, E4 7BE and is licensed by Waltham Forest Council.

During 2019 the market will be held on the following Saturdays:

It is run by E4 markets and includes a range of arts, crafts and food stalls.

The Waltham Forest Vegans Market is held in Walthamstow Town Centre on certain Sundays during the year, details are on the Waltham Forest Vegans Market Facebook page.

This market is a not-for-profit project which has grown from the vibrant and active Waltham Forest Vegans community and all are welcome!

Sundays 10am to 2pm

The Walthamstow Farmers Market takes place every Sunday on Walthamstow High Street, next to the Town Square and the Mall, between 10am and 2pm.

Items including fresh bread, free range eggs, organic vegetables, cheese, poultry, succulent cooked sausages and plants are all on sale. This market is run by London Farmers’ Markets, for further information or to apply to trade on this market see London Farmers’ Market website.

Walthamstow Farmers’ Market is a popular place every Sunday with more than 20 traders selling everything from speciality breads, honey and preserves to fresh meat, game and vegetables.

The Walthamstow Sunday Social Market runs every Sunday from 10am to 4pm in Walthamstow High Street.

The market aims to provide experiential street market offerings, from talented street food vendors, start up brands and great entertainment.

Wood Street Indoor Market Click to get info

The former Crown Cinema in Wood Street, Walthamstow, has operated as a market since 1955, owned and ran by the same family since the early 1980s, with ownership and responsibility passing down through the generations.

The market, which has 30 trading units available, is open Tuesday to Saturday, 52 weeks a year, from 10am to 5.30pm. The market is also open on the first Sunday of every month.

Walthamstow Town Square Click to get info

The Town Centre is a licensed public entertainments facility and therefore subject to conditions imposed on the licence and the bylaws of the Council. The venue is designated primarily for the purpose of presenting entertainments that enhance the experience of shopping in Walthamstow.

The protocol contains information on how groups can obtain the permission of the Council to use stalls, tables or banners in Walthamstow Town Square in accordance with the Parks and Open Spaces general byelaws.

Forecourt trading Click to get info

A street trading licence may also be required if you are trading on a forecourt of a shop premises or wish to place tables and chairs on the highway outside your premises.

To apply please contact the Street Trading team for an application form.

A licence may not be granted when adverse comments are received from the consulted parties.

A licence will not be granted where there is a risk to road safety or possibility of a nuisance being created.

The Council may revoke a street trading licence after it has been granted. This may be for a variety of reasons such as: non compliance with conditions, non payment or because other agencies such as highways department require access to the trading location. You will be given at least 10 days notice if your consent is revoked.

The application form must be received at least seven days prior to the first date for which you are applying.

Please note that you can book no more than four weeks in advance in any one application.

If you don't have access to a computer, you can visit a Library Plus branch where you can use a self-service pc to log your request/report.  Staff are available to support you if you need it.​​​​​​​
