Fixed penalty notice appeal

The London Borough of Waltham Forest will consider all appeals made against Fixed Penalty Notices up to 14 days after they have been issued.

We no longer accept representations made by email, and our new process is to complete an online form via our website. Should you wish to make a representation against a Fixed Penalty Notice, please ensure you have the Fixed Penalty Notice reference number (which will begin with the letter N). Within the online portal you will be able to attach any supporting documents, and once received we aim to respond within 10 working days.

Whilst a representation is under consideration the Notice is suspended, and no further action shall be taken until an adjudication has been completed by an Appeals Officer. Once an outcome decision has been made, responses are sent digitally either via email or through your ‘My Account’ should you be registered with the Waltham Forest Council website.

In exceptional circumstances where internet access is not available, we will accept representations by letter and sent by post to the address below.
