When: from Saturday 24 November – late December
Where: Waltham Forest Town Hall, Forest Rd, London E17 4JF
At the end of November a photographic exhibition, Fields of Battle – Lands of Peace 14-18 will mark the end of our commemorations for the Centenary of the First World War. The exhibition is a unique and powerful portrait of the war’s battlefields by acclaimed photographer Michael St Maur Sheil, which tells of the healed scars of the First World War through our only remaining living witness: the fields of battle themselves.
This exhibition has been seen by over 11 million people in nine countries, and is now the most widely viewed international exhibition about First World War. We are delighted that it is coming to Waltham Forest.
The exhibition is free to view in the grounds of Waltham Forest Town hall. Find out more at fieldsofbattle1418.org
