Council car parks

Please note: from Friday 28th of August 2020 for a period of approximately 3 months, Stanley Road Car Park E10 will be used as a Covid-19 walk in testing site. This will lead to around a 60% reduction in parking spaces, however the car park will still be open to members of the public to park as normal.

All of our car parks are permanently open except Hall Lane E4.

Penalties will be given to vehicles that:

  • don’t display a valid pay and display ticket
  • park without payment of the parking charges
  • display an expired pay and display ticket
  • park incorrectly within a bay
  • park in a disabled person's parking bay without correctly displaying a valid Blue Badge
  • park causing an obstruction
  • park in a car park when closed

Privately-owned car parks Click to get info

There are several car parks in the borough that are associated with British Rail, London Underground, housing developments, industrial or housing estates.

Generally, we don't have control over privately-owned car parks and we don't enforce parking regulations on them. All queries about these car parks should be made directly to the owner of the site.

If you don't have access to a computer, you can visit a Library Plus branch where you can use a self-service PC to log your request/report. Staff are available to support you if you need it.
