Access to Covid-19 vaccinations for Personal Assistants providing care and support to residents

Personal Assistant (or PAs) are individuals who are employed to provide personal care and support to our residents either through a direct payment, or through self-funded arrangements.  All our residents are advised that PAs are included in the category of Frontline Health and Social Care Staff as set out by the government in their plans for rolling out the Covid-19 vaccines.

Therefore, PAs living and/or working in Waltham Forest are now eligible to register for a vaccine.  In order to find out how to do this, PAs should contact the Direct Payment Support Service provided by Citizens Advice Waltham Forest as follows:

Once you can confirm your status as a PA, you will be provided with details on how to register for a vaccination appointment.
