Fees for marriage and civil partnership

Fees for the registrar to attend a civil marriage venue (such as Hotels, Town Hall):

Other registered buildings such as places of worship include churches, synagogues and mosques.

A registrar's attendance at a place of worship is £86.

The statutory ceremony is held in an office at Waltham Forest Register Office, which is located at Walthamstow Library. The ceremony is basic without music, readings or guests.

A statutory ceremony costs £46.

We need full payment by debit or credit card to confirm your booking.

The following conditions apply if you cancel your booking:

• 50 per cent of fee will be refunded up to four weeks before the ceremony date
• No refund will be issued after that

If you need to change the date or time of your booked ceremony:

• A non-refundable fee of £37 is payable at the time of the amendment.

Marriage certificates cost extra and not included in the fees listed above.
