Wood Street Library has reopened now that work has been completed following water damage.

Wood Street Library offers a wide range of books and services including:

  • Adult fiction, non-fiction and large print stock
  • Books in community languages
  • Selection of newspapers and magazines
  • Children's section with a wide variety of stock - board books, picture books, stories, information books and books in dual text
  • Teenage section
  • Audio books
  • Computer use including FREE Internet access and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint)
  • Photocopy services
  • Councillors surgeries
