Terms of reference for new thematic partnerships agreed

Terms of reference for the new LSP thematic partnerships were agreed at the LSP Board meeting on Monday 10 December.

New governance procedures for the LSP were approved at the first meeting of the new LSP Board on 4 May.

LSP Review

At its’ meeting on 22 January 2007 the LSP Executive Board agreed all the recommendations contained in the LSP Review Final Report presented by Renaisi Ltd.

The Review was commissioned with the purpose of ensuring that the partnership followed best practice, was equipped to develop and deliver the Local Area Agreement (LAA) and would be assessed as being amongst the best LSPs in the country.

Following agreement of the recommendations, the next stage of the Review will be their implementation and work has already started on drawing up a project plan clarifying who is responsible and under what timescale. Further updates on progress towards implementation will be posted at regular intervals.
