Draft terms of reference

Aims

To secure a joined-up strategic approach to achieving mixed sustainable communities in Waltham Forest and delivery of the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) housing priority.

Objectives

• To shape and inform the development and implementation of a housing strategy for Waltham Forest
• To engage with and inform the development of the Local Development Framework (LDF) Core Strategy
• To ensure that housing supports the SCS and is central to the borough's approach to sustainable regeneration
• To manage those Local Area Agreement (LAA) targets allocated to the Partnership by the LSP Board
• To link housing with the wider achievements of socio economic and health policy

Governance

The Partnership will adhere to the LSP governance arrangements and any governance recommendations made by the LSP Board.

Accountabilities

The Partnership is accountable to the LSP Board.
