Pilot scheme
From 20 June 2011 Leyton Library has been acting as a pilot to enable customers to access the Council's services.
As well as issuing books, staff will also be on-hand to answer general queries and help visitors access the services they need over the phone or online.
Although the library will not offer a 'walk-in' service for housing or benefit-related enquiries, you will be able to pre-book appointments to discuss these matters. These meetings will be away from the main library area to ensure privacy.
