Future of Housing in the Private Rented Sector Conference and Awards
The London Landlord Accreditation Scheme/UKLAP is hosting Future of Housing in the Private Rented Sector Conference & Award Ceremony to celebrate its achievements and acknowledge the work of the private rented sector professionals. The event will be held on 1 March 2012, and the deadline for nominations is 30 January 2012. Some of the categories include Best Local Authority Landlord Services, Best Small Landlord, Best Green Agent of the Year and Overall Best Landlord of the Year.

Online housing application available now
Waltham Forest Council has changed the way that you can apply or register for Council housing. The previous paper form has been replaced by an online version.
If you need help, please contact Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000 or visit a Customer Service Centre or Leyton Library and someone will be able to give you advice about how to complete the form.
We are experiencing some delays with processing the new online applications, and it may take longer than 48 hours to process your application. Please bear with us. We hope to resolve the delays as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

- For emergencies outside these hours call 020 8226 2631 (6pm-8am and Bank Holidays)
