The Council is committed to providing Advanced Stop Lines at all signalised junctions and providing cycle signals/toucans on all new road schemes. It will also examine the possibility of providing cycle phases at junctions where space allows a special cycle signal as has been introduced at the junction of Forest Road and Blackhorse Road. This gives the cyclist a 10 second headstart before motorised vehicles.
