- Always hold young children's hands when out walking
In the car
- Don’t drink and drive its always a big temptation to drive to a nice pub on a warm evening and have a few drinks
- Watch out for children during the school holidays, they may be riding bikes or crossing the road in places where you would not normally expect to see them.
- Always drive at an appropriate speed often this will be below the speed limit
- Never exceed the speed limit

- Keep games and toys in the car to amuse children on long journeys
Motorcycling/scooter riding
- Always wear protective clothing even when it’s hot. Helmet, Gloves, Boots, Heavy Jacket and Trousers are essential it may look cool to ride in shorts but if you fall off the first thing to hit the road is your skin.
In the Garden
- Relax in the garden but watch out for tools left laying around,put them away
- Lock away slug pellets fertilizer and other poisons.
- Always supervise children in gardens with ponds .Ponds should be covered to prevent children falling in
- BBQs are a constant danger, keep children and drunk adults well away
- Apply sun cream even when in the garden
Away on holiday
- Know where fire escapes are in your accommodation
- Check depth of swimming pool before getting in and never dive
- Always supervise children in swimming pool
- Check sea is safe look for information on tides,currents and temperature
- Never swim in rivers gravel pits lakes or canals unless specific facilities exist
- Do not use inflatable boats and toys on the sea
- If abroad make sure to look the other way for traffic
- Always use sun cream even in Britain
- Watch the booze, alcohol contributes to all types of accident
