Release fees for abandoned vehicles
Vehicles impounded under the abandonment legislation and put in storage at our contractor’s pound, will be subject to the following release fees:
- Removal £200
- Storage £40 per day.
Release fees for untaxed vehicles
Vehicles impounded under the vehicle excise legislation and put in storage at our contractor’s pound will be subject to the following release fees:
- Within 24 hours £80 plus £120 surety or a valid tax disc
- After 24 hours £160 plus £120 surety or a valid tax disc
- Storage £15 per day
The surety fee is refundable if a valid tax disc is produced at the vehicle pound or a DVLA Local Office within 14 days of the release of the vehicle.
Release fees for no insurance and driving licence offences
Vehicles impounded under the Section 165a Road Traffic Act 1988 and put in storage at our contractor’s pound will be subject to the following release fees:
- Removal £105
- Storage £12 per day
