Release fees for abandoned vehicles

Vehicles impounded under the abandonment legislation and put in storage at our contractor’s pound, will be subject to the following release fees:

  • Removal £200
  • Storage £40 per day.

Release fees for untaxed vehicles

Vehicles impounded under the vehicle excise legislation and put in storage at our contractor’s pound will be subject to the following release fees:

  • Within 24 hours £100 plus £160 surety or a valid tax disc
  • After 24 hours £200 plus £160 surety or a valid tax disc
  • Storage £21 per day

The surety fee is refundable if a valid tax disc is produced at the vehicle pound or a DVLA Local Office within 14 days of the release of the vehicle.
