Private car parks

There are numerous car parks in the Borough that may be associated to British Rail, London Underground, housing developments, industrial / housing estates etc. In most cases there will be signs displayed within the car park informing who is responsible for the site. All queries regarding these car parks should be made directly to the indicated responsible owner of the site.

Council car park charges

These charges apply from 1 April 2008.

High Street E17, St James Street E17 , Mission Grove E17, Palmerston Road E17 and South Grove E17

  • Up to 1 hour: £1
  • 1-2 hour: £2
  • 2-4 hour: £3
  • All day: £5

Garfield Road E4, Hall Lane E4, Richmond Road E4, Stanley Road E10 and Church Lane E11

  • Up to 1 hour: £1
  • 1-2 hour: £2
  • All day: £5

Larkshall Road E4, Brandon Road E17 and Linford Road E17

  • Up to 1 hour: £1
  • 1-2 hour: £2
  • All day: £5

Season tickets

Are available from the Parking Shop Unit 9 Alpha Business Centre, 60 South Grove, Walthamstow, London, E17 7NX (mon-fri 7am-7pm, sat 9am-1pm), they are vehicle and car park specific and are not transferable, the cost of these are:

  • 3 month £150
  • 12 month £400

Free Council car parks

Waltham Forest also manages three free of charge car parks situated at the following locations:

  • Argall Avenue, Leyton E10
  • Bedford Road, Walthamstow E17
  • Marlow Road, Walthamstow E17

Cleansing

Council car parks are cleaned by the Council's Cleansing Team with the exception of Hall Lane where the work is contracted out by Parking Services. Any problems should be reported to Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000.

Lighting

In Hall Lane car park the lighting is the responsibility of Sainsburys - Problems should be reported to the store.

In all other sites the Council's Public Lighting Section undertake all repairs and problems. Any problems should be reported to Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000.

Surface defects

If there is a problem with pot holes drainage etc then the responsibility is with Highway Maintenance. Any problems should be reported to Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000.

Machine faults

If there is a problem with a Pay and Display machine NCP have the responsibility.
