Reporting it online

By filling in the online hate crime incident reporting form. All incidents that are reported by victims or witnesses will be forwarded to Waltham Forest Borough Police for action.

By printing out and filling in the hate crime incident reporting form (42KB PDF file). This form can be completed:

  • By victims of hate crime
  • By witnesses of hate crime
  • With a specially trained member of staff at a hate crime incident reporting site

This form can be completed anonymously. Even without the victims details the hate crime information reported helps the police and Council to collect intelligence and identify hotspots where crimes are being committed.

Visiting a hate crime incident reporting site

A hate crime incident reporting site allows you to report crimes without having to go directly to the police station, and include places of worship, housing providers, voluntary and community-based organisations. You can report a hate crime or hate incidents anonymously and in strict confidence. You can discuss your experience with a specially trained member of staff to complete a hate crime incident reporting form.
