Reporting crime

To report anti-social behaviour please contact 020 8496 5061 during office hours and you can speak to a caseworker.

The SafetyNet Partnership have launched a new free phone number 08000 32 72 91 for the reporting of Homophobic and Transphobic hate crime incidents.

Don't suffer in silence is the message for all victims of hate crime. The numbers below can be called for confidential help and advice. A list of non-police reporting sites in the Borough's community languages is also available.

Our Area Matters – now tell us how to improve it

Anti social behaviour and environmental crime will be firmly in the Council’s sights from this month on when a hard hitting new scheme arrives on the Borough’s streets.

Our Area Matters takes the popular Beat Sweeps on to the next level and will give residents, ward councillors and partner agencies the chance to tell Waltham Forest Council what issues they think need to be tackled in their area.

Drugs service for young people

The 722 Young People Service, based in Leytonstone High Road, has been specifically designed to listen to young people's concerns and tackle any drug and alcohol related issues they may have.

The 722 service can be reached by ringing 020 8496 3000 and is open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
