Adidas Mini London Marathon
The Adidas Mini London Marathon took place on 13 April 2008. 48 young people, aged 11-17, represented Waltham Forest and competed in three age categories.
Borough trials for the event were held on 1 March at Hackney Marshes where 60 young people competed for the 48 borough team places.
Competitors in the Adidas Mini Marathon started at Lower Thames Street and completed the three mile road race in The Mall.
Our young competitors did very well in their age groups and Waltham Forest came 10th overall.
