There are many ways in which you can support your local museum or gallery.
Donations to the collections
We are always looking to develop our collections, to ensure they continue to reflect past and present Waltham Forest.
If you have an item, document or photograph of local historical interest, please contact the Vestry House Museum on 020 8509 1917 or email them. We are particularly keen to collect items from Waltham Forest’s diverse communities.
If your item relates to William Morris or the Arts and Crafts Movement, please contact the William Morris Gallery on 020 8527 3782 or email them.

Please contact us in advance to discuss your donation. Please do not bring items in without an appointment as staff cannot take things in without consultation.
We will make a decision on whether to accept your offer based on existing collecting priorities, legislation and Council policy. If we are not able to accept your items we will endeavour to put you in contact with an organisation which may be able to assist you further.
Bequests and pecuniary gifts
There are donations boxes at the Vestry House Museum and William Morris Gallery. If you are thinking of making a bequest, it is advisable to get in touch with the museum beforehand.
