E17 Art Trail

1 September – 14 September

This year sees the 4th annual E17 Art Trail, an extraordinary event which brings together the artistic community, local business and residents of Walthamstow. A huge diversity of contemporary practice is reflected, including installation, performance, film and video, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, drawing, textiles, poetry and glass. In 2007 there were 67 venues hosting exhibitions and events representing over 300 artists and all within just one London postcode. It is a great opportunity to meet local artists where they live and work, have a cup of tea, a chat and walk off with original artworks at affordable prices. Exhibitions are hosted in every conceivable space across Walthamstow including homes, gardens, trees, hedges, parks, galleries, studios, museums, libraries, cafes, shops, windows, pubs, indoor markets, community centres and schools. As a business you can get involved by using your premises as a trail venue (we can put you in touch with artists), or by sponsoring part of the trail.
