We are very proud to provide another year of exciting exhibitions at the Changing Room Gallery.

The Changing Room Gallery

The Gallery is Waltham Forest Council’s venue for contemporary visual arts and crafts. The Gallery provides a free space for artists to display their work and for the public to enjoy the full breadth of creativity in our community. The Gallery hosts a range of exhibitions by local professional artists as well as community groups who have worked with experienced artists to produce high quality works of art.

Opening times to the Changing Room Gallery vary for each exhibition and are generally supervised by the artist. The Horizon Café facilitates visitor entry to the gallery via the café from 10am–12noon from May–September.

Waltham Forest Council values the excellent contribution of local artists to the cultural life of our community and we are expanding exhibition opportunities through our Libraries and Museums and by funding initiatives such as the E17 Art Trail and the Leytonstone Art Trail.

Local artists can also register on the SEER web site, which provides easy access to and information about other art practitioners from a variety of disciplines. With local access provided by the Council, the site also enables artists to promote their work by inputting their own contact details and web pages.

Changing Room Gallery is set in Aveling Park, to the rear of leafy Lloyd Park. This pleasant and peaceful setting is home to the  William Morris Gallery which is well worth a visit.

The Changing Room Gallery is fully accessible for people with physical disabilities including wheelchair users.
