Summer Reading Challenge 2009 - Quest Seekers

Visit your local library this summer and you'll find a magical challenge waiting for you! Dare to become a Quest Seeker and;

  • get a membership card and fold out poster
  • be rewarded with fantasy stickers and other magical prizes
  • earn a certificate and gold medal when you reach the end

Your journey will take you to three mysterious places: Firebird Rising, Mountain Mission and Dragon's Lair.

Happy 100th Birthday Walthamstow Library - Saturday 11 July, 10am - 4.30pm

There is a planned programme of events to celebrate the Library’s special birthday to take place on Saturday 11 July, there will be plenty of fun events and activities for the whole family. There will also be face painting, badge making and craft activities throughout the day.

Popular children’s book character The Gruffalo will also be celebrating his 10th birthday.

So come along and help celebrate the Library’s 100th birthday and reminisce while enjoying this beautiful building – don’t forget your library card!
