The 2008 Waltham Forest Celebrating Sport Awards takes place in November 2008.

A panel of representative of sport in the Borough will judge the nominations received for the Waltham Forest Celebrating Sport Awards. Please use the guidelines pack  to help you provide appropriate information for your nomination. You can nominate by using the online Nomination Form or downloading the word version and sending or emailing it to the contact given.

The award categories are:

  • Coach of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Young Volunteer of the Year
  • Club of the Year
  • Sports Performer of the Year
  • Disabled Sports Performer of the Year
  • Young Sports Performer of the Year
  • Young Disabled Sports Performer of the Year
  • Sporting Primary School of the Year
  • Sporting Secondary School of the Year
  • Adult Team of the Year
  • Junior Club of the Year
  • Primary School Team of the Year
  • Secondary School Team of the Year

The Sports Performers and Teams of the Year will be judged primarily on their achievements over the past year.

Please note that nominations for the individual categories cannot be from the nominee themselves or members of their immediate family.
