The Street Watchers scheme invites residents to be an extra pair of eyes for the Council, reporting any environmental problems to us so that we can take the necessary action to put them right.

If you spot a problem as you go about your daily life, we ask you to report it to Waltham Forest Direct. We will log the problem and assign it a unique reference number. The information will then be passed on to the relevant Council department to investigate and put right.

You can report any environmental problem you see in the borough, including faulty street lighting, potholes, overhanging vegetation, overflowing recycling points and fly tipping.

All Street Watchers are offered training in relation to the scheme, and are invited to attend quarerly meetings.

For more information, or to become a Street Watcher, contact Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000 or email wfdirect@walthamforest.gov.uk
