Summer bank holiday recycling and waste collections
Waste and recycling collections will continue as normal over the August bank holiday on Monday 25 August 2008.

Bin delivery delays
Some residents who have requested a new bin are currently waiting longer than usual for delivery, and we apologise for any inconvenience this causes. Until your new bin is delivered we will collect bags of refuse from your property.
The delay is due to a problem with our suppliers, as a high demand from local authorities across Europe has caused a shortage in the supply of bins. We are doing all we can to clean out and refurbish old bins, and as soon as the new bins arrive we will clear the backlog of delivery requests.
