Unfortunately, the Council is unable to provide grant funding for any new applications.

In addition to the grants offered under the current Interim Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy 2005, the Council is dealing with a backlog of applications for renovation and Home Repair Assistance grants where a full application was received prior to the new Policy. The Council is able to do this only under the terms of there being insufficient funding in previous years to enable them to process these applications at that time. The Council has NO policy to provide renovation grants for any new applications but will complete all of those applications it has previously received.

There is no assistance available under the current policy for landlords nor any area based or needs based renewal assistance. However, the Council continues to provide mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants for eligible clients supported by a needs based assessment.
