Appeal: Former Granada (EMD) Cinema, The Victoria Public House, 186,186A/186B Hoe Street, Walthamstow, E17 4QH
On 20 December 2011, The Incorporated Trustees of the UCKG Helpcentre lodged two appeals with the Secretary of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) in respect of the above premises.
First Appeal 2009/1048
This against the refusal of the Council to grant planning permission for change of use of former cinema and the Victoria Public House to a mixed use development comprising of religious, community/assembly, café and retail uses (A1/A3/D1/D2 Use Classes) involving rear extensions at ground and upper floor levels to facilitate the provision of residential accommodation for staff, alterations and restoration of the listed building, alterations to front façade and elevations and associated plant, servicing and works.
Second appeal 2009/1049/LB
This appeal is against the refusal of the Council to grant planning permission for internal and external alterations to listed building including limited demolition works, construction of rear extensions at ground and upper floor levels, alterations and restoration of the listed building, alterations to front façade and elevations and associated plant, servicing and works.
