Did you know that the bandstand can be booked for activities?
For years people have used the bandstand for group activities and performances. We want to encourage local groups to use the bandstand, in the fabulous surroundings of Coronation Gardens.
We are looking for groups of the following to come and perform at the borough’s only surviving bandstand:
- Traditional brass and jazz bands
- Orchestras and choirs
- Theatre groups
- Exhibitions
- Dance groups
- Multicultural performances
The bandstand can also be used as a focal point for events or even as a shelter for children’s summer holiday activities.
