The Lloyd Park Tree Trail is a fully accessible, circular route of approximately 1km around the ornamental moat. Numbered points mark each of the 20 tree stops.
The trail starts outside the William Morris Gallery (Water House).
Some of the larger trees in Lloyd Park were probably part of the original estate grounds, the others were planted at various times since the park opened in 1900. It is difficult to accurately estimate the ages of trees without felling them and counting their rings, though most are probably less than 100 years old.
