Greenfair 2008

Green Fair and the Fellowship Symphony on Sunday 20 July 2008 at Lloyd and Aveling Park, Walthamstow E17 from 1pm - 7pm

This year’s Green Fair is host to the creative and musical works of young people inspired by the cultural legacy of William Morris. Visitors to Lloyds Park will encounter a musical interpretation of William Morris’ green utopia set within a landscape, artworks created by young people working with local artists. Composition by Professor Mike Roberts of Guildhall School of Music in partnership with Waltham Forest Music Service.

What is the Green Fair?

Waltham Forest Council’s annual environmental event, providing information on Council services, environmental issues, children’s activities and entertainment including arts and crafts, produce and flower shows, and exhibitions on renewable energy.

The Green Fair aims to improve people’s awareness of green issues and help people to make the small changes to their lives, which can help to make a dramatic effect on the environment.
