What we have done
We have installed new fencing and put in two gates around the kickabout area so that people can see in and out. From our consultations, residents said that it was dangerous because the concrete fence was blocking the sight lines. Now people using the area will feel safer when they play.
We have replaced the tarmac and put in new football and basketball posts. We have put seating in the middle area and a new slide, climbing frame and springers at the end.
We will be organising football sessions in the summer so watch this space for more information and get in touch with us if you want to be involved.
