Your neighbourhood has hit the Jackpot

Waltham Forest is spending £2.1 million on parks and open space projects between 2006 and 2008 as part of the Cleaner, Safer, Greener Programme. The aim is to make Waltham Forest a better place by improving the environment, safety and cleanliness.

In the first year we have completed 20 projects and planted over 150 trees. We have carried out works on parks and play areas, installed seats and paths in a number of open spaces, carried out allotments improvements and installed better lighting systems where safety was a concern.

In the second year we are working on 7 major parks projects, as well as a number of smaller projects, and we are looking for your input to decide how we develop and design these.
