The Council has produced its own Biodiversity Action Plan, and also undertakes a wide range of project work to enhance areas of local nature conservation importance.
As part of the Biodiversity Action Plan, the following detailed habitat action plans have been prepared, which cover most of the typical natural habitats to be found in the borough.
