Food safety – level 2 award
The cost of a food poisoning outbreak can be high, for food businesses and customers alike.
For a business, a good reputation, built up over many years, can be lost overnight. It is not just bad publicity; heavy fines can be imposed on business for failure to comply with food hygiene regulations. In some cases the food business can even be closed.
Don't forget the customers who may suffer food poisoning, which can be extremely serious and even fatal. The public are also becoming increasingly aware of their rights. As well as fines, businesses are being faced with heavy claims for compensation.
We are registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health as a Training Centre and run the nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Food Safety
