In February 2008, Waltham Forest residents were asked to submit their bright ideas on climate change. All the ideas are being considered for inclusion in the forthcoming Climate Change Strategy, which aims to reduce the borough’s carbon footprint and minimise Waltham Forest’s impact on climate change.

Other bright ideas were submitted as poems and Team Leyton submitted a welcome range of suggestions relating to building insulation, energy sources, transport, waste and recycling and food miles.
