Emergency Contraception

If you have had unprotected sex or your usual method of contraception has failed, you can access emergency contraception also called the “morning after pill”. This is available up to 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex, but it is best if you take it within 24 hours.

You can access emergency contraception from all the clinics above and usually from your GP.  In addition, if you are 16 or over you can buy the pills from most pharmacies for around £30.
