The Davis School is the Pupil Referral Unit for secondary age students who are at risk of being permanently excluded . It aims to return students to mainstream school, or post-16 further education, or to training for work. Pupils attend full-time, and as far as possible, the unit models the curriculum of a mainstream setting. Expectations of work and behaviour are compatible with mainstream school. Pupils are supported through a favourable pupil-teacher ration and strong links with outside agencies
