Project information
It is proposed that the school will undergo building and refurbishment works to bring its two existing school sites together. The school will be able to provide better facilities and technology, and improve the learning and teaching spaces for pupils and staff.
The number of pupils able to attend the sixth form at the school will be increased from its current number of 180 by an additional 70 places. This means that 250 pupils will be able to stay on after their GCSE examinations and gain further qualifications at the same school.
Benefits to the school and our young people
Last year the Sorrell Foundation worked with groups of pupils from the school, to listen to their hopes and ambitions for the project.
The pupils, excited by the opportunities that this project brings, shared their ideas on how good design will improve the quality of life in their school.
