The Federated Governing Body of Cann Hall Primary School and Tom Hood Community Science College agreed to change school category from Community School to Foundation School supported by a Trust.
This followed a statutory consultation process. The Buxton School Learning Trust has now been set up, and has been in place from January 2010.
