What is BSF

BSF is a Government initiative to transform Secondary education through renewing or refurbishing schools over the next 10-15 years.  Find out more on this national programme by visiting www.bsf.gov.uk.

Waltham Forest Schools for the Future Project

Waltham Forest Council is one of the first to receive Government funding towards this initiative and our scheme “Waltham Forest Schools for the Future Project” is the first in the country to incorporate all of the elements championed by the BSF Programme, including the establishment of a Local Education Partnership (LEP) with Bouygues UK.

We are investing £250 million into transforming secondary schools across the borough and this ambitious programme of rebuilding and refurbishment is part of our commitment to provide first-class, modern and inspirational buildings, working towards excellence in our schools and for the benefit of the whole community.

There is also a major investment in information and communications technology (ICT), which is a vital part of the transformation. View the Ramesys newsletter for further information on ICT in BSF.

Regular updates on the project from the BSF Project Director are available for download on the BSF bulletin page.
