We have two systems for taking payments online:
- Parking fines for penalty notices issued for parking, bus lane and moving traffic violations

If you have any queries about making an online payment, please see our Frequently Asked Questions, or phone Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000.
Paying Council invoices
If you are paying a general invoice number beginning 5003****, please select "Invoices - 7 digit accounts" and use your 7 digit customer number instead.
If you have any queries about online payments please see our Frequently Asked Questions, or phone Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000.
Paying online - paying securely and safely
Online payments to Waltham Forest Council are made through a secure system. This is shown by the web address starting with https//.
If you decide to stop making your payment part-way through, or if the online payment fails, your payment details will not be taken.
This to reduce any possible fraudulent use, extra security checks are carried out on all online card payments.
These checks mean you may now be asked two additional questions to confirm your payment:
- The three digit security code on the back of your card. This is required for all payments
- Your Verisecure password. This only applies to those cardholders who have signed up to Verisecure
