Changes to Polling Districts and Polling Places can be made by the local authority at any time, however the Electoral Administration Act 2006, which came into force last year, required all local authorities to undertake a full review before 31 December 2007.
As a result of the review, a number of changes to polling districts and polling places took effect from the publication of the Electoral Register on 1 December 2007
