Polling Stations

In 2007 the Council carried out an extensive review of all the Polling Stations in the Borough. This was undertaken in order to assess the suitability of the places we are currently using and to ensure that we are offering the best, most accessible venues available.

The Borough of Waltham Forest is divided into 20 Wards. For voting purposes each of the twenty wards is in turn divided into smaller polling districts within which polling stations will be located.

Following the review there are now 12 new polling stations.

About a month before any Election Day poll cards will be distributed throughout the Borough with directions to the designated Polling Station for each address

If you are unable to get to your polling station it is possible to vote by post.
