Hale End and Highams Park by-election, 4 December 2008
A by-election has been called to fill the vacant seats in Hale End and Highams Park ward following the death of Liberal Democrat councillor John Beanse this month, and the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Noel Penstone. The by-election will be held on 4 December.

The Council's Electoral Services Office will publish a new Register of Electors on 1 December 2008. Your name must be on the Register to vote in any elections in the borough. You may also find it difficult to get credit or open a bank account if your name is not included.
