How is it calculated?

The Council Tax is made up of two parts:

  • the amount raised to meet the spending needs of the London Borough of Waltham Forest

    plus

  • the amount raised to meet the spending needs of the Greater London Authority (external)

Council Tax for 1st April 2003 - 31 March 2004

The Council Tax was set by Full Council on 27 February 2003. Bills will be sent out in mid-March 2003.

Percentage change

The percentage changes are as follows:

  • The amount of Council Tax for Waltham Forest has increased by 17.52%
  • The Greater London Authority increased the amount for their services by 29.05%
  • This gives an overall increase of 19.57%
