How is it calculated?
The Council Tax is made up of two parts:
- the amount raised to meet the spending needs of the London Borough of Waltham Forest
plus - the amount raised to meet the spending needs of the Greater London Authority (external)
This year's Council Tax
The Council Tax was set by the Full Council on 28 February 2002. The details of the Council Tax for each Valuation Band for the financial year 2002-3 are set out below, along with the percentage change from last year. Bills will be sent out in mid-March 2002:
