Church Hill Cash Office consultation
Residents are being asked for their views on the proposed closure of Church Hill Cash Office.
The Council’s cabinet agreed in principle to the closure and delegated the decision on whether or not to close to until after the public consultation was completed.
If accepted the cash office would close in the summer of 2009 and residents would be able to use Post Offices and other Pay Point outlets spread across the borough for cash payments relating to Council Tax and rent payments.
Residents can obtain the details of the proposals by phoning Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000 or emailing consultation@walthamforest.gov.uk. Please put Church Hill Cash Office in the subject title.

How can I pay my Council Tax or Housing Rent by cash?
If you have a Council Tax Peel Out Card or Pay Point Card you will be able to pay by cash at Pay Point outlets and Post Offices.
If you do not have a Council Tax Peel Out Card or Pay Point Card you will need to contact Waltham Forest Direct on 020 8496 3000 or visit a WFD shop and as for an application form.
