Who must be present?

A meeting of the Standards Committee will not be valid (quorate) unless at least three members of the committee, including at least one independent member, are present for the whole meeting.

If the independent member cannot take part in a meeting for example, where they have a prejudicial interest in the issue being discussed, the meeting will still be valid if at least three members of the committee are present for the whole meeting.
