In December 2010 the Council developed a new set of priorities which reflected the Council’s strong ambition to continue to focus on the needs of residents in the context of the challenges posed by the financial climate that Local Government currently operates.

Progress against these priorities is reported on a monthly basis to Portfolio Leads. Once a quarter, Cabinet receive an exception report highlighting areas of where the Council is performing well or areas which are providing a challenge.
