- People claiming housing benefit who have been housed in other boroughs by Waltham Forest Council. But you will need to contact the local council where you live about council tax benefit
Residents of other councils
- contact your local council about council tax benefit
- contact your local council to apply for housing benefit (unless you have been housed there by Waltham Forest Council)
How to use these online forms

Print out and sign the declaration and any other relevant forms, then
- take them with your evidence to the Customer Service Centre or Leyton Library

If you don't have access to a printer, there is space on the form to ask us to print a copy of the declaration and send it to you.
We will contact you to make an appointment to come in with your evidence and sign your declaration. Please bring in original documents as we can't accept copies as evidence.
